Customer care is core to our business values.

Our technical expertise is a benefit to our customers directly and indirectly. As members of the UK Weighing Federation, John White & Son participated in the Calibration Working Group that drew up a Code of Practice for the calibration of industrial weighing equipment.

We were also involved in the UK Weighing Federation’s working party advising QSRMC (Quality Scheme for Ready Mix Concrete) on procedures for calibrating ready mix concrete batching plants. We constantly appraise our skill stock to ensure that customers enjoy the best weighing solutions. All our engineers are not only time-served, but also have a minimum of SVQIII.

As a weighing solutions provider, our products include all types of weighing system:
  • Micro balances > platform scales > weighbridges & computer systems > mobile weighing systems. Fitted on board vehicles, the last type now form an important part of our product range and complement the conventional weighbridge or axle weigher for measuring vehicle loads.

  • We cover an extensive range of industries: food & drink (including whisky), farming, engineering & metals, concrete, quarries, auction marts, transport, textiles, medical, waste management, recycling, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, local authorities and scientific research.

We are continually seeking to expand and develop by working closely with customers to ensure that their changing needs are being met, whether through entering new market areas or adding new products and services to our already extensive portfolio.
